White Christmas

Dreaming of a white Christmas? – do not mourn, here's a great gift for the white wine lovers.

Sometimes, with rich, strong flavours of the winter season, you’d like the wine to lift your palette.  A contrast.  Here we have three whites.  None shy.  They’ll stand-up to your low & slow beauties.

Neo Nevis by La Nouvelle Don(n)e – silky, fresh, tad of acidity elegant.  Just fab with Soupe de Poisson is you really have the time, or fish finger sarnies if the kids have their way. 

Mano a Mano is a bigger white, Bourboulenc, Chardonnay’s stepsister.  Grown in seaside-saline fresh air by Sarrat de Goundy, it develops a refreshing minerality.  Try is with a stew and witness how the contrast works. 

Dolce & Gavatx is made by Eddy & Arthur of Clot de l’Oum.  It’s a tinged white wine with bags of flavour and minerality.  Any oily fish would be marvellous.
