Romanissa is the name of a local Rosemary plant that grows in a single plot of 100 yr. old Lledoner Pelut vines, a rare clone of Grenache. It’s wild nature here and the farmers compete with wild pigs for the exquisite crop.  The whole plot is on schist.  Whole cluster fermentation in wood and 10 months of elevage.  A nice body of fresh red berry fruits balanced by refined tannis.  Balance is everything here – lively, bright fruit with mouth-tingling minerality.  A tad of roasted flavour too.  ABV: 11.5%.
